Consider adopting a rescue dog if you are looking to add to your family. We work mainly with the SPCA PV but also network with many other incredible rescues and individuals throughout Mexico. Your match is out there somewhere! Let us help.
Whomever said diamonds are a rescue's best friends has never met a foster parent! This is the most incredible way to contribute and to give not one, but TWO animals their second chance. When you foster one dog for us, it means a second one has room to go into the Sanctuary. Most often, only short term fosters are needed, from a few weeks to a couple of months. We work hard with our rescue partners to find homes for the dogs in need. You can help by helping them acclimate to life in Canada and providing a safe place to decompress from their journey. All expenses are covered - you just supply the love.
The Sanctuary in PV is run entirely on donations and all the rescues we support often spend more than the adoption fees on vetting, feeding and caring for the animals that come into their care. There is also the expense of getting them to Canada so that their new life can begin. 100% of your donation goes directly to the care of these animals. PVCA is run entirely with volunteers and is a Canadian Registered Charity, meaning you can have a tax receipt for your donation.
If you are flying on vacation from PV to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Kelowna...you can help us by being the escort for a dog who has a home waiting for them! Costs are covered for the fees associated, the paperwork is done by us. It is so easy and means the world to the family who is waiting and to the rescue dog!
If you have a fundraising idea or are willing to hold an event for us, we want to hear from you! We are always looking for volunteers to help us in this department and appreciate all of your input!
The more people who are exposed to our mission, the more dogs we can help. It's that simple. Sharing our Instagram and Facebook posts, liking and commenting to show your support - all these things help to raise awareness and have a positive impact on the abandoned, abused, neglected and forgotten dogs of Mexico. We thank you.
